DEPARTMENT: Install and Maintenance
RESPONSIBLE FOR: Responsible for A/C Engineer
RESPONSIBLE TO: Responsible to Line Manager/Supervisor
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Accountable to Operations Manager/Service Head
SALARY: £33,000 to £40,000pa (Subject to Experience , Knowledge and Skills)
HOURS: 35 hours per week

JOB SUMMARY: Air Conditioning (AC)
Air Conditioning (AC)
Install Engineer shall be able, under minimum supervision, to carry out the installation of domestic or industrial/commercial systems
pipe work and/or ductwork, and associated components and systems. An Installer Engineer shall be able to demonstrate a knowledge of how components within a system relate to each other. Plan the installation of systems. Install and test system components. Carry out pre-commission testing; and signing off systems.
QUALIFICATIONS, TRAINING & COMPETENCY
Applicants will have the competence and satisfactorily completed training or received formal accreditation for the skills and experience they possess. FGas Safe handling of Refrigerants Certified howsoever acquired, in accordance with the requirements of NVQ/SVQ Level 2 H&V Installation or equivalent (whether Industrial and Commercial, Domestic or Ductwork options) which may be amended from time to time –as approved by the appropriate national accreditation bodies.
Essential: Holder of a Full Clean, UK Driving Licence
Advantage: Holder of a current CSCS Card for Health & Safety,
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Any other duties, which may be requested by the Supervisor manager, to facilitate the smooth running of the department.

AIR CONDITIONING ENGINEER MATE/ ADULT TRAINEE
DEPARTMENT: Install and Maintenance

SALARY: £24,000 to £31,00pa (subject to experience, knowledge and skills
HOURS: 35 hours per week

JOB SUMMARY: Air Conditioning (AC)
INSTALL A/C ENGINEER MATE
Shall be able to assit the Qualified A/C Engineer to secure maximum utilisation of manpower and optimum economic production for installation of domestic or industrial/commercial systems, pipe work and/or ductwork, etc.
Mates shall be required to provide a range of support activities for Craftsmen and Senior Craftsmen.
However, the work of a Mate shall not be confined to the manual work of fetching and carrying.
Manpower and optimum economic production, Mates shall be required to provide a range of support activities for Craftsmen and Senior Craftsmen in a Health and Safety manor.
While not required to demonstrate developed technical skills, Mates shall be able to undertake semi-skilled repetitive tasks, including the use of power tools.
A Mate must also be aware of the basic safety requirements of the job, having had appropriate health and safety training.
